It's hard to believe it's been 20 years since the first Harry Potter book, and I'm still loving the books and the films. I remember waiting at various bookstores for the next release to happen at midnight. All of those bookstores save one are now out of business. So sad. I love the idea that the books are now entertaining another generation, though. That's a totally excellent thing!

Eee, I can't believe it. I got into it a little late - I didn't read the books until after the second movie had come out. I re-read them all when the last book was released but I haven't read them since - it's so, so nice to rediscover all the little things I'd forgotten. (I've also been watching each film as I finish its book - I cannot believe how young the kids were in the first one!)
