It is 3:50 EST and I have four fics submitted. I don't know if it's finishing the fics that's the problem or what. But here's what we're going to do:

We are extending the draft deadline until January 15

Does this mean that artist claiming is pushed back to Jan 14th? (just checking because I don't want to miss this ... though sadly because of the push back I may not be able to do more than two fics... school starts up again for me and they kinda want me to do my homework first)

Not necessarily! A poll will be going up this afternoon (when I get home from work) with several options as to when artists would like to claim their fics. PERSONALLY, I lean towards ASAP, because I know it's a lot of work, lol, but it's going to be up to you guys

Please don't hate me. For my sanity, I have to drop out. I'm just not feeling this story at all and nothing is happening with it.

I'm truly sorry to say that I won't be done in time. I've had some health issues get worse over the last month and have not been able to find a way to balance all of the other stuff in my life, much less focus on writing.

I look forward to reading all the fics that come out of the comm and wish you all the very best! Thanks for getting me as far as I did. I'm still excited about my story and will eventually finish it, just the time isn't now.

I'm very sorry but I'm going to have to drop out (again). :( I tried and I tired to get this story done on time but with school and various other things that have been going on in my life, it just wasn't possible to finish it.

I feel horrible doing this again, but the story just isn't coming together as I'd like, so I'm going to have to drop. Good luck with the rest of the challenge.
