Thanks a lot; I was nervous about posting this, because...well, to me, he just makes so much sense and I wasn't sure if I'd conveyed that right. Most of the Rent!fic I write is set after Angel's death. The way Collins copes fascinates me.

BRILLIANT. Collins is (for the moment, anyway) my favorite RENT character, for oh so many reasons that you've hit upon perfectly here. He's a complex, layered character, and you've managed to get all that down in this essay. Love! Because it's gorgeous.
