Wonderful! I'd been looking forward to reading this, as Victoria has been drawing my attention quite frequently of late. Iknow that she can easily be summerised as a bitch, but I actually consider her the most realistically human character of the show, I'm glad that your essay reflects this POV.

I just watched "Victoria's Secret" for the first time, and really appreciate coming across your essay! I agree that Victoria is one of the few people who really humanizes Fraser -- we see a lot of the Super Mountie but it's very rare to see him so emotionally vulnerable.
You mentioned fic: do you have any recommendations for any featuring her? Your references to her and Fraser leading a life of crime (especially him catching that train, what an AU that would make!) are, as they say, intriguing and I would like to subscribe to your newsletter. :)
