Apparently I wrote something on yelp about planning my wedding on a budget and she contacted me because they're doing a whole section on how the economy is making people cut back on splurges i guess? Not that I personally ever wanted a big silly wedding.

You mean people can't have that $100,000 wedding now? Well, damn. Looks like we're all doomed.

I never wanted the big, silly wedding either. Good food and wine, yes. Huge, lacey, tiered dress monster? No.

yeah, we're doing a pretty fancy wedding for only 8k for 60ish people. Didn't splurge on silly stuff though - just good food and drink, like you all :). Everything else we're doing on the cheap and casual and lovely.
