It's an awful lot of fuss to make about ice cream.

But, it was pretty funny. Klartch was affected, but he couldn't do anything asked; he couldn't walk on his hind legs or recite the alphabet backwards or beat them in hopscotch. I don't think gryffins ought to have ice cream, but I began to feel for him, and won him some ( Read more... )

Going around to houses for candy? That sounds almost as good as the ice cream yesterday. I know there were All Hallow's Eve parties where I came from--well, sometimes there were--but going about for candy sounds splendid.

It was a fairly big holiday in my world, but no one ever went around for candy. Apparently, everyone dresses up in costume, and knocks and says, "Trick or Treat!"

And you receive candy or something that isn't fun, I think.
