Um, I am not sure what context these comments were in, but that to me is grounds for divorce :) He has NO right to be insulting to you, regardless of the situation. You really need to tell him that simply is NOT OKAY and if he does it again, you will assume he doesn't have enough respect for you to keep his comments decent in nature.
