stop in the name of burritos...

Mar 23, 2005 02:55

I really wasn't paying attention, just crusin' home...2 in the morning....didn't even have a soda.....hey look, theres a cop...........76 in a 55? come on...thats nothin. This would make the 8th time I have been pulled over.
Let's see...what have my finest moments on the road consisted of....

1) The first time I got pulled over I was on my way home from wall-mart with my brother Jay. Our turn was just over the next hill and the cop had to turn around to get us. I was doing a whopping 66 in a 55. But the guy was nice enough to let me go since "your car's so messed up" He actually said that. Hey my car isn't messed up...my dad just gave it to me, it's my first car it's beautiful! So what if it was a rust-blue 84 Toyota Corolla that just barely passed inspection.
2) Old Blue has died and I got my new wheels...my red 95 Honda Civic hatchback. And this was the reason I drove the back roads to work...to avoid the cops! But I have to admit I did go a little fast on that road but it is the perfect back road for speeding. The cop said that people had been complaining about cars flying by there so I guess I wasn't the only one who thought that. But he just gave me a warning. Whewww! I don't really remember how fast I was going but I think the limit was 35...I know I was goin at least 50.
3) So i'm living with my Uncle for the summer out in Illinois and heading home in my aunt's Saturn at about midnight. I must have "peeled-out" while leaving a freshly turned green light. He gave me a ticket for "illeagal sqealing and screeching of tires." So. Lame. Oh and you know another fun thing that happened that summer? I was driving my uncle's big Dodge Ram 3500 dually and blew through a red light in an intersection just about crushing a little gold colored car. I really did not know it was red...but they must have stopped like 2 inches from hitting the right side of the truck...it didn't phase me a bit at the time...I just kept right on rollin down the road. but I remember thinking afterwords that would have been really bad if I hit them......like they probably would have been dead...
4) I was on route 4 on my way to church. A little advice? Don't speed on a Sunday morning, that is their favoritest time to do radar. It was a 55 and I was doing 70-72? He just gave me a warning BUT got me with a fine for not having my front lisence plate on.....which is a story in itself. To sum it up, I hit a dear (since they own the roads in calvert county) and lost it in the process of getting the front end fixed. I hit two dear actually...but anyways. yeah.
5) So i'm driving round the Annapolis mall right, I come to a turn and a cop comes to the other side of the turn. He has the right of way but just stops and sits there. I think, oh great...this can't be good. So I make my turn and of cource I see him turn on his fancy lights behind me and so he gives me a ticket for not haveing my front licence plate on. I was on my way to the MVA to get it officer, honest :/
6) Route 4 again. Sunday morning again. State trooper again. But this time it was a woman cop. I hate woman cops. They never give you a break because they prolly feel like they have to be extra tough to stay on the same level as the men. But they are so manly already that they probably have chest hair. lol! Needless to say I got a ticket. 76 in a 55. I went to court and got off with no points and a day of community service. Which was actually kinda fun...I got to build an indoor miniture golf cource with other guys who were there for the same ol' reason. We even got FREE DONUTS!!!!!!!!!! wewt :)
7) ok another lame ticket for my front licence plate not being on. Leaving a siding job we were doing in downtown Annapolis and while passing the city police dept. the guy was just pulling out, but stopped just to let me go by.....how nice of him. So after that on my way home I counted all the cars I saw with no front licence plate...i'm pretty sure it was 17. That is just retarded. I bet you if I was driving a Corvette he wouldn't pull me over for not having a front plate!
8) this would be just this past Friday night on Rt 29? it was like the third time I had been on that raod. Right before my exit to 32. It was a woman cop again. Grrrrreeeat. So my court date is yet to be announced but I told her I was going and she said it would be in Elicott City. Thats not too bad since i've been up there quite a bit for a big addition we put on a house last summer...or wait, summer 03...wow time flys.

And now it is time to finnish off that chocolate cake that someone brought here to work...this thing was made by their grandmother and it is soooo good. Now is when i'm wishing there was ice cream here.....
