my friend is in the hands of an amateur. she told me shes gonna learn about herself now, so she can be better at being in someones hands. sounds like fun to me. i know way too many people who are way too... uncurious? about themselves and life in general. ive always considered it a treat to meet someone who was not just a thinker but a mental

A rant buddy sounds like a pretty good request. .__. I'd like that too. A non-judgmental rant buddy = potted plant.

eh.. its not a rant buddy in particular, its like.. a birthday present. one day is enough for now. always is more like a spouse. or a really good friend.
as to non-judgemental.. well.. im not sure what that means. im not really all that judgemental. by which i mean i usually dont hold peoples views against them, even if their views are stupid. views and people can change, over time.
some people i dont have hope for. like my friend eric. hes pretty stubborn, but at least hes logical about it most of the time.

If they stay friends with you even without accepting your views, it's the same as not holding those views against you. It means they like you despite them, nee?

do i like them despite their view? i dont know. id like to think i like them including their view - since its a part of what makes them them. sure i disagree and think that they *have* to change some day (because what theyre spouting now is absolute nonsense), but if they wont change because i explain how what they think isnt quite right, and i still like them, then ill just like them that way. (recently, this sort of acceptance has been harder cause of the person i talked about in the OP)
i guess ive only met two people that i can recall off the top of my head who i felt had extremely stupid views and wouldnt change ever. ive seen a few on tv, but since i dont have to deal with them, i just call them outside my scope.
