Happy Labor Day to all of you who had the day off - in the restruant industry, days off are usually relegated to a) christmas, b) thanksgiving and c) easter. Since today was none of those days, nor a Thursday or Saturday, I was obivously at work. Something about a day off really makes people go to restruants, and we were quite slammed as a result.

Ugh, at Applebees we are open all holidays except christmas Day, it sucks to work thanksgiving, easter, new years eve, christmas eve, memorial day, 4th of july and labor day. Luckily I wasnt scheduled to work Labor Day. That is the main reason I hate working for a restaurant, we are always open. What restaurant do you work at?
