Hi Dez, I just read this one and I think I can understand how you must feel in this type of situation. But... the obvious counterpoint is if you didn't love people so willingly, so passionately and with so much abandon for your own poor heart's sake, what would the alternative be? Cutting people off? Worrying about falling too fast and therefore hesitating the possibly foregoing an opportunity at happiness? And yea, it's true, sometimes it can come back to haunt you. There is no one on this earth that does the right thing all the time. Everyone makes mistakes.
But... your way of living and loving so freely makes you who you are and I really can't think of you as being shut off from people and holding onto your heart like a dragon hording gold.
When push comes to shove I think you'll find more happiness than tears come from you loving people and people loving you back. I love you.
