Okay, I was a little quick to judge.

I'm not always left with NOTHING.

Sometimes, years later, someone will smack me in the face with a really good piece of advice, like "If you cry, the terrorists win."

yesterday was the high school student matinee.

Later at Giant...

Kid: This is going to sound awkward...
Me: Uh huh...
Kid: But have you ever been in a play...at the Northeast Theatre...
Me: Like...today?

Which is what he meant. And that only sounded awkward because he made it seem like he saw me in a play when he was 4.
