The football team wasn't the only thing from Sacramento. So is Cake. I saw them in concert here in Sacramento about two years ago, they played with a lot of other groups including the Flaming Lips. Some of my favorite Cake songs include "italian leather sofa" and Racecar Ya ya's.

Yeah, that's a funny coincidence that I thought about during the game.
I'm pretty sure cake did both of those songs, as well as many other popular ones.

OH that's funny. I wish I had bumped into you, we could have hung out.
We were in the rear (facing the stage on the left) at the bottom of the stairs. Dana didn't want to go on the floor, so we relaxed. I think I'm more into Cake now that I've seen them live. There's something catchy about the simplicity of the arrangements, and the poetic social commentary of the lyrics. I also like the rhythms a lot.
