That's like comparing apples and oranges, though, since they're two separate versions of the psychopath. I'm not knocking Nicholson, but suffice to say it's a differently written Joker and thereby just isn't the same role.

I was being sarcastic. With that said though, I still don't think he "needs" an Oscar. If he was alive, sure.

Sorry if you felt intruded upon. Personally, the Oscars is like the SAG awards and a good other wastes of time. (Part of the reason why I'd back him, though, is because he makes the film-maker-I-was-to-be happy. As a writer, I think Jonathan Nolan is pretty satisfied with the whole cast ( ... )
