Torchwood: Miracle Day, ep7

Oh my, this was better than expected. I had been looking forward to this, but was bracing myself that it would be bad. In any case, I think I fell for this episode regardless of all its flaws I might think of later.

I had hoped for more talk between Jack and Gwen, but no such luck. A nice thought from Jane Espenson to bring into this was that Gwen, although surely she must feel devastated about their losses and all the shit as she said it, admitted it makes her feel special, I liked that. No one can tell me, they never ever felt a tiny bit like that.

In particular this:
"And when we lost people, it was so, so big, and I could say it was worth it, ‘cause the bigger it was, the more important I was, and the more people we lost, the more that meant I was a survivor, and I was better than them."

Jack's story was heartbreaking and difficult to watch and his line "men like you. they kill me" was very sad.
