"Haha, sucrose is sweet" = totally Spock. :) I really love the little bit of back story, the epiphany Spock had about his father's apparently illogical gestures when he finally understood the motive behind them, and how that then influenced his own behaviour towards Jim. Perfect and fabulous - thank you! ♥

Thank you so much! One of my favorite things about nu!Trek is Spock and Sarek's relationship, and how Sarek told Spock that he loved Amanda. I can't help but think that that would have an impact on how Spock thinks of his father and himself. I'm glad you liked it!
