My submission for Round 30: Adventures in Wonderland over at 20inspirations. I missed the comm's Down the Rabbit Hole theme, so when this came along I was so happy! Freeing yourself up to play and go crazy with compositional elements you never would've dared to otherwise is a pretty great feeling.

Thank you! I have such a love-hate relationship with 4, so I'm kinda surprised that people are mentioning it, but I'm always interested to find out which icons speak to which people.

Pushing Daisies is perfect for this round! I still miss the show so much :/
The texture use on these is great! I really like the colors of 19 and the composition of 1 is so cool :D

Isn't it? Ugh what a great show. Also, 1 was the very first icon I made for this round, and I wasn't sure if it was too similar to my normal style, but then I figured I'd still tried some new things and I tried not to worry about that whole behind-or-over-the-line thing too much. I know overthinking it would've ruined my enjoyment in making this batch. Anyway, I'm glad you like it!

Everything is great but my favourites are 1, 10, 14, 15 and 20! :)

Thank you, I'm especially glad you like 10! I painted over it but after resizing I wondered if people would think it was a Topaz project (and I don't even have that program/feature). But then I decided I didn't care. :P

This is one of my favorite icon sets to date! So creative and unique but still seems very true to the show's theme. 1, 3, 14, 16, 19 and 20 are my favorites but especially 14; I can't get over how creative and brilliant the idea and composition are. And the coloring and texture-use on 20 is gorgeous! Very nice work -- I'm adding a lot of these to my inspiration folder :)

Wow, thank you! This is such a sweet comment and I'm really glad you like 20. Playing with the paint textures and all the colors was so fun. After finishing it I had to resist the urge to make the rest of my set like that. :P
