A promise delivered.

This is the first few paragraphs of the unedited (trust me, very unedited and very unindented) first volume of Chronicles of Limbus. Still unnamed, as well. I just can't think, even after 4 years.

"Lately I could not help myself but to wonder what exactly went on below this kingdom. With only two eyes, I can only see my creation at a bird's eye view rather than a human to human perspective. It wasn't until I was down there that I saw the reality of how disgusting and dirty the bacteria known as humankind has made the land I created. A clean green and blue sphere in production non-stop for seven days whole, only to be infested by this bullshit.
I will admit that I let them stay here, soon deciding it would be my own little project. Destroying the tenth generation of patriarchs, I let them consider it as a warning. Even then, the waste ignored the warnings and premonitions. That should have been my first sign to let it all go to hell. Call it quits.
These days though, everything is influenced by this "media" and this "media" is influenced by actions of humankind. They murder with my word in their hands, they sin with my name on their lips and yet I have become their servant rather than vice versa. This burden is on my hands and the end of it is on mine as well. A constant prayer brushes through the stars begging for mercy after the tenth broken promise of "never again" and now it is time to end it once and for all.
I walked under the bridges and through the tunnels thinking of all of the above. The heat of human warmed my nose as I stepped down each step to whatever station this would be. New York, New York, the city that never sleeps. Car engines and horns filled the air while I leaned against what it looked to be a blood stained brick wall as I waited for my right hand men. The only two men who could be trusted in this time of need, my angels."
