On sunday I went to hang out with my friend Lynn in San Francisco. She's one of my UCLA friends but she was up here visiting for the weekend so we decided to do the lunch thing. I'm in a canyon, with towering sandstone walls on either side of me. The canyon is just opening up into a large flat desert plain, which something tells me is the Black Rock Desert. It is daytime, but the sky is dark with storm clouds. In the middle of the plain is a huge dust storm, but instead of being afraid, I am strangely drawn towards it ( Read more... )
