This is the best Cal has felt in days. Everything related to Stane's fake death has gone off without a hitch - the paperwork stood up to whatever inspection it was placed under, people who got bribed stuck to their stories, and Tony played his part without even punching anyone. Last Cal checked, the media had decided that, what with two deaths of well-known public figures in a month, Sunnydale's death rate is the most exciting part of the whole thing. A week from now, they won't even remember Obadiah Stane existed at all

When the door unlocks for him as per usual, there is already a faint sound of music audible from within.

As always, Cal finds the door's opening reassuring. Perhaps a little more so than usual this time.
