Summary : Midori Gakuen was a prestigious institute of boarding junior high and highschool and university. But the students found it as prison since only university was co-ed and they were asked to study from day to night. The students' dream was enjoying their schoolhood and of course with love. So, will they reach for their dreams as the obstacles keep coming up?
Dream 7
“Next, Yoshiro Hikari. Please come forward,”
“Good afternoon, judges and my fellow friends,” Hikari’s intro already attracted the audience. It was her way of talking that was unique and different from the other candidates.
She’s pretty good. Kota thought. He rested his chin on his vertically-placed right arm while playing with his pen on the other hand.
“I would like to present about greenhouse effect and global warming,” she paused a bit.
“As what we know, sunlight provides us with both light and heat energy. Without it, we all will die. No creature will able to survive.”
“The greenhouse effect starts when some of heat energy from the sun did not reflected back but is trapped by greenhouse gases for example carbon dioxide (CO2). At first it is useful to increase the Earth average temperature or else we will stay in the Ice Age forever.”
Cool! Pretty and clever, perfect package!
“However, excessive production of carbon dioxide by car exhaust and factories which trap much heat than needed lead to unwanted increase of global temperature. This eventually led to global warming. If this continues and we sit still like this, New York, London and Tokyo may be some of big cities that will disappear from Earth map forever.”
“That’s all from me. Thank you.” Hikari bowed as she ended her speech. Clapped sound was heard as everyone was amazed of her knowledge.
Sugoi~ Kota thought.

At Midori Hospital, emergency room. [note : I forgot to mention this before. Midori Hospital is located at the Main Complex too, near the Main library]
“How is she, doctor?” Keito asked a doctor that was just came out from the room where the girl was.
“Do you know her?” Instead of answering Keito’s question, the doctor asked him back.
“No, I don’t know,” Keito shook his head.
“Nothing serious with her,” the doctor’s word relieved Keito. “She’s just stressed. Too much pressure, perhaps.” The doctor made a move as he finished his line.
“Ah, wait,” Keito stopped him. “Can I know her identity?”
The doctor took out a card, university identity card. Yamashita Mayuko, Year Two was what written on it.
“Can I see her?”
The doctor nodded, “But she’s sleeping,”
Keito went in only to see a girl lying on the white-covered bed. Her face was so pale like she had gone bloodless. Dilute sodium chloride solution was being injected into her body to give her energy. He looked at her for a while before leaving her alone.
“I should not disturb her sleeping,”
Then, Keito went to the Main Administration building to make an announcement which could be heard from the entire complex since it had a bulk of speakers placed everywhere in the complex.
“Attention please! To those who know Yamashita Mayuko, please come to Midori Hospital. I repeat, those who know Yamashita Mayuko, please come to Midori Hospital. Thank you.”
* dilute sodium chloride : sodium chloride [NaCl] is table salt. Dilute sodium chloride is diluted salt solution. It supplies energy since sodium ions are needed for our body.

The sudden announcement attracted Kota. He could not focus on the debate anymore.
“I’m sorry, I have to go,” he stood up and vanished beyond the door.
Hikari looked at him, ‘the super cutest creature ever’ as what she said, confusedly. What he has to do with the announcement?
The audition became chaotic. Chattered sound could be heard anywhere.
“Fellow audience, I hope you will calm down. Something unexpected happened. So, we will postponed this audition for now, it’ll be continue later,” the Club President tried to cool down the audience. “We’re very sorry for that,” he bowed.

Keito was sitting on a chair beside Mayuko’s bed. His right hand was holding her cold hand.
“I know you need someone. Don’t worry, I’ll always be by your side,” Keito talked to the sleeping girl as she could hear him.
What is this feeling? Is it what they called ‘love’?
Keito was conflicting with himself when the door opened. A guy and a girl came in.
“I’m Shizuki Haruka, Mayuko’s friend,” she introduced herself to Keito. “How is she?”
“Nothing serious,” Keito told her. “Don’t worry.”
The guy was standing quite far from them. His eyes focused on Keito’s right hand. Envious could be sense from the look. Noticing that, Keito was hesitated to ask for his name and what he had to do with the girl. They looked at each other for a while. Realizing that Keito was confused, the tall slim guy broke the silence.
“I’m Yabu Kota.,” he introduced himself. “Yamashita Mayuko’s fiancé.”
“Fiancé?”
Feeling that she was not needed, Haruka went to the door, “I’ll see her later.” She left.

Haruka was wondering around the Midori Garden located near the Sports Complex. She breathed the fresh air in and out.
“I never know that Mayu has such big secret. I’m not a good friend anyway,” she muttered alone as she was walking around.
Haruka noticed a boy was running on the mountain-like grassy land of the garden. It was like something forced her to watch him and walked nearer to him. Suddenly he lost his balance perhaps he tripped on stones or whatever and nearly fell down if Haruka didn’t grab his arm.
“Ouch! Your grip is so hard. You’re going to hurt my radius and ulna. Even my tendon and ligament too,” the boy babbled some alien word.
“Next time, be careful. I’m not always near to save you,” Haruka turned and started her moved away.
A golden shiny thing around her wrist attracted the boy who turned to be Daiki.
“That bracelet? Is it…”
* radius : a bone between elbow and wrist, larger surface area on the wrist side than elbow side.
* ulna : a bone between elbow and wrist, larger surface area on the elbow side than the wrist side.
* tendon : strong, inelastic, white muscle that connect the skeletal muscles and the bone, function is to pull the bone when muscle contracts.
* ligament : strong, elastic, yellow muscles that connect two bones, it prevent dislocations.
Note : you can check this in a chicken’s wing, the lower part with not much flesh and two bones.
