Dream 15
Hikaru walked steadily in the hallway while his eyes wandered around on rooms’ doors. The other students looked at him but they didn’t have the nerve to ask upon seeing his serious look. Then he stopped in front of a door. He stared at what written on it for a minute before he decided to knock on. It was none other than the ‘Official Student Council Room’.
No response.
Knock! Knock! He knocked on harder.
After a while, the door was opened. A girl greeted him. “Welcome to our club,” she politely bowed with a nice smile on.
Hikaru stepped into the room slowly.
“What can I help?” the girl asked him as she noticed he was looking for something.
“Can I meet with the President,” he said coldly without looking at the girl. “Tell HER that I have something very important to deal with,” he stressed at ‘her’.
So cold! The girl went inside. A moment later, she came out again.
“You’re lucky enough that she’s not busy. Follow me, she’s waiting,” she said without looking at Hikaru.
“What do you tell her?”
“I told her that a Mr. Snobbish wants to meet her,”
“And what did she say?”
“Let him in! I’ll know what I’ll do!”
How arrogant!
Both of them stopped in front of a door. The girl opened it. Hikaru stunted as he saw the Club President.

“Today, we’ll announce the result of the audition that was held a month ago,” the Debate Club President started his speech that afternoon.
“Firstly, I would like to highlight that only TWO will be chosen and only ONE is going to be university representative. So, I hope all of you will understand it
As those who are not selected, please don’t give up. You can give a try later,”
“The first successful candidate is..,” he paused. The candidates waited anxiously. Silence floating for nearly a minute.
“Yoshiro Hikari. Congratulation!” He finally announced it after noticing how dead-like the candidates’ faces were.

“Guys, I got news!” Yuto stomped into the room, leaving behind a hard slam sound. He was panting.
“What’s up with you?” Ryosuke asked, felt annoyed with Yuto’s sudden appearance. He, together with Yuri and Ryutaro were studying for the upcoming exam - which was three weeks later, but good students always studying early!
“Keito,” only that came out from him. He was still panting.
“What with him?” Now was Yuri’s turn to ask, annoyed too.
“HE WAS DATING A GIRL!” Yup, the pair of stalking eyes belonged to him - Yuto!
“So?” Such lame expression painted on his friends faces made Yuto sighed heavily.
“At least show some eagerness to know,” he protested, putting on his childish face.
“Why we needed too?” Ryutaro asked.
“Aren’t you supposed to study too?” Ryosuke looked at the tall guy.
“Leave them alone,” Yuri muttered as he stared at his Mathematics book - which he hated the most. The fact that he MUST get at least a 95 for it added to his hatred more.

“Two to the power of six is the cube of four; three to the power of four is eighty one; five hundred and twelve to the power of negative half is one-eight; choosing four from seven equal to choosing three from seven,”
(26 = 43; 34 = 81; 512-½ = 1/8; 7C4 = 7C3)
Kei was reciting an insane Math-spell while staring at his broken laptop in BEST Club room. Along with him, only Daiki and Yuya were there. The other two had forgotten their way back, perhaps.
“To calculate average, we can use either mode, median or mean. Ogive is the best data presenting method by the way,” he continued the spell when someone patted his shoulder resulting for unconscious word coming out from Kei.
“log2 2 =1 and log3 a = 5 is 35,” the unconscious word that slipped from him.
And as he recovered himself, “the answer should be 243,”
“What are you babbling of?” Daiki, who patted him asked.
“Nothing,” the latter looked at Daiki. “And you? Why scared me out of sudden?” he asked him back.
Daiki did not answer. Instead, he pointed at the entrance where a girl was standing.
“She said that she has an appointment with you,”
Kei slapped his forehead. “Oh, how come I forget it? No wonder I feel something is not right,” he muttered alone. “Guys, I’m going. Tell Yabu ne, if he asks. Jaa~”
Yuya and Daiki looked at each other, confused of what just happened.
“Inoo is not so himself,” Yuya commented.
“Yeah, he never tags along with girls before. But now … you can see it yourself,” Daiki paused.
“He has changed. Remember the girl on the other day?”
“I remember, that I-pod girl. But, didn’t Inoo say that it was for work?”
“Work? Huh! Can you really believe it?” Yuya looked straight to him.
“Not really tough,” Daiki shrugged his shoulder.
