Chapter 3
Out of sudden
“I want to be the person in charged of registration,” Chinen suddenly stood up and raised his right hand. Sixteen pair of eyes stared at him.
“I thought you’re not interested,” Yamada whispered to Chinen. Their seats are close together so nobody would hear them. Yamada noticed that Chinen just kept quiet during the teacher’s explanation. There’s no smile on his face too. Does Chii have problems? He looks down today.
“Okay. The first person in charge of registration is Chinen,” Miss Kanazawa announced. “But, I need one more person. Any volunteer?” she asked the class. Yamada wanted to raise his hand. However, the next sentence killed his intention. “I think its better a girl. Anybody wants?”
“Kawashima! Kawashima Umika!” the girls shouted just a second after the teacher stopped her sentence.
“Okay. So, Chinen and Kawashima will be in charge of registration,” Miss Kanazawa repeated it again.
“This girl again,” Chinen sighed. “Like there’s no other girl in this class.” There’s slightly an uninterested tone in his voice.
Then the teacher continued distributing the task among the students. Yamada was in charge of food while Yuto’s going to act as the ‘tour guide’ to the participants.
“Okay, that’s all for the festival. Now, take out your Mathematics textbook. We’ll study a new chapter about polygon,” Miss Kanazawa gave out an instruction.
“Ah, I thought there’s no lesson today,” Yuto protested. He put on his I’m-disagree face
“Mathematics is hard ne,” Yamada sighed. He laid down his head on the table. “Can I sleep?” And he closed his eyes.
“I hate polygons. Too many angles,” Chinen mumbled alone. “I hope there’s an angel who’ll help me.”

Kringggggg!
“Finally, it’s over,” said Yuto joyfully. His head almost touched the ceiling when he jumped.
“Yes for today. But not for tomorrow,” said Yamada showing up his lazy face. “There’ll be another class tomorrow. Argh, I’m tired!” he shouted. Some students who were busy packing their things looked at him.
“Sorry. It’s out of control just now,” Yamada grinned. He bowed a bit. His face turned red. Yuto and Chinen laughed slightly towards Yamada’s reaction.
“Next time, think before you act,” Chinen advised Yamada when they’d got out of the class. “It’s shameful you know.”
“Yeah. It’s very silly of me,” he laughed for his stupid action just now.
“By the way, Chinen, why do you choose to do the registration task?” Yuto changed the topic.
“I don’t know,” Chinen raised up his shoulder. “Maybe, it’s out of control too,” he laughed slightly. How should I tell them? Actually, I choose that task because I hope that I’ll meet someone who can help me. That’s the only way I could think of. I don’t think they will understand it.
“Okay, I’ll go first,” Chine said while waving his hand to his friends when they arrived at his house. “See you tomorrow!”
“What the heck is tomorrow? Are you forgetting that there’s practice this evening?” Yamada asked him.
“Oops! I totally forget about it. Thank you for reminding me,” he put his hand on his forehead and grinned again.
“Don’t be late like this morning,” Yuto gave him a warning.
“I’ll try. Bye bye,” he replied shortly and went to his house.

The trio went to Johnny’s Jimusho at 4.00 p.m. They passed by a park on their way. Suddenly, something came into Chinen’s mind.
