Dream 25

Yuto, he spent his holiday just like Keito. But if Keito was invited, he was the one who invited the other party to his home.

“Sorry for waiting,” Yuto bowed a bit as he placed the tray his was carrying on the table. He served a bowl of miso soup in front of Luisa. The girl could just smile. Then, he served another for himself.

“Itadakimasu,” both said in chorus.

“How is it? Tasteless? Bitter? Salty? Or what? Just said, don’t worry I won’t bite,” Yuto asked her. As always, he seemed hyper!

Again, she was smiling. And Yuto found her so cute. “It’s sumptuous! I can’t describe it anymore because no word could ever describe it.”

“Thank you. I can make this dish only,” Yuto was being humble.

Luisa nearly got choked. “So, you make this? I thought it was your mother.” Shame me! I can’t cook!

Yuto just smiled. “Why? You can’t believe it?” Luisa shook her head, still recovering from her shock-ness.

“A boy should learn cooking too, so he can help his wife in the future,”

For unknown reason, Luisa was blushing upon hearing it.

“I’ve troubling you so much, sorry,” Luisa was still blushing.

“It’s okay, not a big matter anyway,” Yuto smiled. Unconsciously, his right hand moved to approach Luisa’s.

Just as the about to have a lovey-dovey moment, the front door was opened revealing a figure of a girl.

“Oh, it’s you, Yume-chan. I thought who was coming,” Yuto greeted her half-heartedly. Dush, why did she came?

“Why didn’t you tell me that you’re coming?” he asked. Somehow he felt uneasy. He had just wanted to have some time with Luisa and unfortunately it was interrupted.

“Nothing’s really. I just dropped by from that bookstore,” she pointed to the south, where the bookstore was located. “So, how’s your mum? Much better?”

Once Yume mentioned about his mom, Yuto’s face became serious. “She’s getting much better, but I’m still worried.”

“Dude, just fever, right? Don’t worry that much,” Yume hit Yuto’s forehead slightly. “Where is she?”

“Resting in her room,” Yuto then leaded her to his mom’s room.

Minutes later, he came to the ‘abandoned’ Luisa. Yup, all this while, she was just an observer - a bit left out.

“Sorry, Luisa for ignoring you,” Yuto came and bowed.

“It’s totally fine yo,” she acted normally tough jealousy was there, inside her heart.

“So, let’s study,” Yuto grabbed his book and sat back on his chair. “Omgosh, so hot!” he complained.

“Of course, it’s hot,” Luisa started her explanation. Yuto listened to her carefully. “Human is warm-blooded and the chair is a non living thing. So when you sit on it, there is a heat transfer from your body and the chair, and vice versa till the heat movement is zero.

At this rate, it is said that both you and the chair have achieved thermal equilibrium. Thus, you’ll feel that the chair is hotter when you sit for the second time. Understand?”

Yuto just nodded. I’m not wrong to invite her. Definitely she could teach me. But, I can’t be the househusband and she the one working! NO! NO! Definitely NO! I should study more! Beat her! Yeah, BEAT HER!

************

Reiko stopped in front of that huge gate of a huge mansion. Or should I say a little castle. She spotted a familiar car parked there. What are they doing here? She was totally confused. Less than a minute of waiting, the gate opened and two butlers greeted her, leading her to the main entrance of the mansion - ops, little castle!

As she entered the living room, she stunted. Her instinct was true. But, what on earth bring them here? Don’t tell me that they got thing to do with this too.

Sitting on the soft large sofa in the living room were Inoo Kei with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Inoo and surprisingly also her parents - Mr. and Mrs. Amakusa - that made her go ‘What?’

“Oh, Reiko. You’re here. Feel free to take a seat,” Mrs. Inoo greeted her. Reiko smiled and nodded, showing respect to her - mother-in-law-to-be?

Since all the spaces had already filled, Reiko had no choice but to sit beside Kei. Just as she sat down, Kei patted her. Somehow she felt a difference in Kei’s personality that day. What the difference? Let’s keep that aside - surprise yo!

“Reiko, can I take a look at that necklace once again?” he asked her politely.

Reiko took out the necklace from her jacket at showed it to him - and the entire audience too. But, since it was tied, it could not be clearly seen from a distance.

“Take a further look at it, Rei-chan,” Kei ordered her. Rei-chan?

Reiko did just as he said and to her surprised something else was carved there. It was not Rei!

“It can’t be,” she looked at Kei, totally confused. “It can’t be,” she shook her head continuously.

“No, Reiko. It’s the fact,” It was Mrs. Inoo turned to add in to Reiko’s confusion.

Meanwhile Kei took a small box and opened it revealing a necklace with exactly same pendant as Reiko’s.

“Here,” he gave the box to Reiko.

“You are…”
