Summary : Midori Gakuen was a prestigious institute of boarding junior high and highschool and university. But the students found it as prison since only university was co-ed and they were asked to study from day to night. The students' dream was enjoying their schoolhood and of course with love. So, will they reach for their dreams as the obstacles keep coming up?
Dream 29
Few days later.
Kei and Reiko were walking together, hand-in-hand when they met Rui.
“Hi, Rui!” Reiko greeted her. “Where are you going?”
“There,” Rui just pointed to a boutique. Again, she was heartbroken upon seeing them so lovey-dovey together.
“Perhaps it’s fate or something, cause we’re heading there too. So, let’s go together, ne!”
“It’s okay, I don’t want to ruin your date,” somehow Rui was not in the mood.
“Date? Whose date?” Reiko burst into laugh while Kei was smiling.
“Obviously, it’s you two’s date. Am I wrong?” Rui felt confused since the ‘couple’ in front of her could not stop smiling and laughing. What’s so funny about it?
“Of course you’re wrong because…” Reiko paused and looked at Kei. Then they chorusly resumed the words, “We are……INOO!”
“Inoo?”
*flashback*
“You are…my…twin,”
Reiko jerked of that simple phrase. Twin? Her eyes rounded and her mouth O-ed.
“I’m sorry, Rei,” Mrs. Inoo apologized to her, kneeling down just in front of her. “We’re poor back then. I gave you to Amakusa family, our neighbour, since they had helped us a lot.”
She took a glance at Amakusa couple who had I’m-so-sorry look on both before hiding her face back.
“But then, they moved out and became greedy. They even changed your name so that we couldn’t recognise it anymore,”
Reiko raised her head and looked at her ‘parents’ only to see that they were avoiding eye contact of feeling guilty.
“Luckily, I’ve tied that necklace on you. I crossed-wear it on purpose; Rei wore Kei’s and Kei had Rei’s so that you’ll remember your twin forever,” Mrs. Inoo wiped her tears as she started sobbing.
“A twin can never be separated, forever.” Mrs. Inoo muttered the spell within her sobs.
“I’m so miss you, my daughter,” she came forward, approaching Reiko and tried to hug her.
Reiko just froze in her seat; she was totally lost. She did not react when her biological mother hugged her.
“Reiko, forgive me for hiding the truth from you,” Mrs. Amakusa’s turn to hug her. Again, her reaction was same as before, just like she was a stone with no emotion.
Soon after that, she ‘woke up’. (LOL, her reaction is late XD). She slapped her cheek and pinched her nose to make sure that she was not dreaming. Yeah, it was real. So, what I heard before…it was all….REAL? NO! NO! It can’t be!
Reiko stood up and carried her feet outside the house. She cried and ran towards the gate. Luckily it was controlled by remote so Kei who was quicker had locked it from inside before went chasing after her.
“Running away from a problem will never solve it,”
Reiko turned her head back as she heard such familiar voice of Kei behind her who was standing less than 10 meters from her.
“Rei-chan, this is life. No matter what happen, we HAVE to face it. Sour, bitter and sweet, all of them are the ‘tastes’ of life. Without them, our life is meaningless,” Kei advised his younger twin without realizing that he actually was approaching her.
“So, come on, Rei. Accept it.”
Now, all he knew was that Reiko had already been in his embrace, still sobbing.
“I know it’s hard, VERY hard. But, you have me. You can always cry on me cause I’m your brother, more specific your TWIN brother. We once had shared our life together, in a same small place called womb, although we were not connected by the same placenta. So, just tell me everything, ‘kay?” Kei rubbed Reiko’s hair gently and softly, full of brotherly-affection before planted a kiss on Reiko’s forehead.
*basically there are two types of twin : identical and fraternal. In this case, Kei and Reiko are fraternal twin.
*fraternal twin: originated from two different ova (it is so rare for a woman to release two ovum at once but it is not impossible) and sperms which resulted to different zygote development and thus explained why they have different placenta. Both of them are genetically different and do not necessarily to have identical faces. They can be whether same sex or different sex. In short, they are just like normal siblings but were born together.
*identical twin: originated from an ovum and a sperm which split into two during its early zygote formation and thus they share the same placenta. Both of them are genetically same and normally have identical faces. They can only be same sex. There is also the probability of having Siamese twin from this type of twin due to the incomplete splitting of the zygote at its early stage.
*end flashback*
“So now, no excuses! Go with us!” Reiko ordered Rui. Before she could object, she was brought by Reiko to be beside Kei. Reiko was facing straight to them.
“Take care of her,” Again, Reiko was ordering, but this time it was Kei.
Kei winked his left eye, “Don’t worry, Rei-chan. You, take care too,”
“Of course I will. See you later,”
“Reiko-chan, wait! You can’t leave me alone!” Rui shouted at the leaving Reiko.
“Have fun, Rui-chan! My brother will take VERY good care of you!”
Rui looked at the twin simultaneously. She felt tricked but in the same time was very happy! She sighed. Guess I got no other choice!

Meanwhile in Yamada resident, Ryosuke was dressing up himself. He wore a simple light-blue collared t-shirt and covered it with a blue-black vest. Tying up a small yellowish necktie and combing his bang properly, he was done. He looked up at his image reflected in the huge plane mirror just to find everything was perfect.
Ryosuke smiled. He was ready to left when his phone beeped.
A new message came in - from Shizuka.
I’m sorry. Something came up. I’ll be a bit late. Go first!
“Just what else, huh?” he sighed grabbing his cap and backpack and left.
