It has been five days since an earthquake followed by a huge tsunami attacked north-east Japan. News about them flooded everywhere. And so do the fundraising. If possible, everyone wants to establish their own fund.
Sometimes the news are just being exaggerated to the outsiders with unbelievable rumours being added in. Maybe they want to scare others when the real happening is not as horrible as it reported to be. Rumours from unreliable sources are spread widely especially in this modern techno era where SMS, Facebook and Twitter have been the fastest way of communication. The most illogical rumours so far, should be the warning that if it's raining, then avoid it since it contain radioactive material and is acidic as well as can harm people. It doesn't make any sense to me. Sadly, many people are believing it. I'm not asking you to not trust it. I'm just expressing my thought here. So, no bashing please!
Same goes for the fundraising. Many people are taking advantage from others' difficulties by offering fake fund and later they swindle the money. Somehow, I feel that these (
this and
this) kind of fund is way more trust-able than NSTP fund or
this kind of thing. It's suspicious enough as from where our money is collected since no signing up is required. I'm just curious, nothing more than that.
As for the trustable fund I mentioned above, it is an non-profitable organisation. Established the day after the disaster, the organiser rationally aim for USD200 by the end of March. However, in no time it reached USD2000 and two days later it reached 6k. Just few minutes ago when I checked it, the amount is USD9600 - only in 5 days! What so impressive about this is the fact that none of them really know each other. Most of them never meet and it's sound impossible to them to possibly see face to face since some reside in the northen hemisphere while the rest may be staying in the southern part. despite the difference of race, continents, skin colour, religion and everything, they are willing to donate because they love the same five boys. The power of love in definitely unimaginable. Love unites people and make them will to sacrifice the money the earn by hook and crook just to make sure that their love ones are safe.
And one more thing regarding the fundraising is idols' donations. Just wandering around, I found some articles mentioning their donation where 1 million is a common amount (yen of course, not USD). In fact, an entertainment company had just announced that they donate 100 million yen. I'm not going to say that they're so noble for willing to donate that much of money. And I'm going to question their sincerity too since they are not the person who should donate anymore. They MUST! As they money was collected from the people itself and they only sell their voice or talent, I don't think they'll lose their profit by donating. They're just too rich to be stingy.
But I'm still waiting to hear from someone of how much they'll donate. Yeah, it's that five boys. For me, they must at least donate some six figure amount of USD for the victims. They won't be poor for sure. It just sound unbelievable of those crowned as 'Artist of The Year' for two consecutive year and sold four than 4 million copies of album to not have that much of money. I'm sure too that even if they donate only the whole sale of Lotus single, it would be more than enough and they won't lose their profit. A single cost 1500 yen (estimated value) and a total of 550,000 copies are successfully sold, how much is the total amount? However, considering that most of the sales went to the company and not the artists themselves, it explains why they can't donate individually. As for the company itself, maybe the manager is studying the donations pattern and is calculating of how much they should donate to make it the biggest amount. I expect to hear for 5 million USD or perhaps 1 thousand million yen?
And don't get me wrong. I don't hate these five boys nor the company (although some time the company's decision is just sounded insane). In fact I do support these dorky boys who pretend to be childish almost all the time and perhaps never really realise that they're actually approaching their thirties. I want to see how long you can stay the way you are now XDD Not only that, these rainbow boys also intentionally plan to dominate the world by storm and now it has been a BIG success! Every single country in this world know you already, or at least I think so :D
Again, I'm just expressing my thoughtless thought. So, please, no bashing, okay?
As for my last message:
Arashi-san, many girls (and some boys too) from around the world donate their money, united for their strong love for you. Thus, don't disappoint them, do something proud for them to boast around and perhaps a small donation of at least double the amount of the girls'?
p.s: I don't know which tag suit this entry. Guess that I really need and 'arashi' tag. XDD A proper tag is provided ^^
