Hee! The exact same thing happened to me. I told myself, "Okay, I don't want a new show to watch right now, but it can't hurt to read a couple of these shiny new fics, right?" Then I got hooked, and two weeks later I was downloading the entire of Season One. *facepalm*

That's just the thing! Ages back I watched the show and didn't really care all that much, and now there's suddenly this huge amount of SG:A loving on my flist, and their dastardly wiles lead me to read fic (especially if written by those who used to potter [ha! pun] about in my fandom) and I kind of can't help falling in love with how these characters are represented to me, rather than what they're actually like in canon. I... I just want to read more of the meta and see why on earth I'm doing this (I can't even remember what everyone looks like anymore?)

I'm glad you took the time to explain this and everything. I feel like I don't really have the right to friend your new journal :( because we don't seem to talk very often. So, of course! I will be friending it, but you don't have to friend me back :P It'll be weird not seeing ifihadameadow on my flist anymore, but hopefully I'll still get to see some of you :) ♥

and I know, yeah? I'll miss my icons and stuff :( but it'll be nice to start over ;)

and pffffffft. As I said, I'll continue to read from this one for a while, and of course you can friend the other one ;) I'll probably update that one more than I've been posting here lately!,
