I was flipping through some pictures of college the other day (I have this huge box crammed with pictures from freshman and the early parts of sophomore year, back before I got a digital), and I couldn't believe how quickly the time went. oh katie... you're such a wonderful writer... "When I was unlucky, I lost everything, or at least parts of me that proved to be impossible to replace or recover." ... i think that pretty much sums up my last 4-5 months... kind of reminds of a quote from a FANTASTIC memoir... ....that as you get even older and more experienced, you gain a new sweetness. A knowing, a feeling, a confidence. You gain the TRUTH of who you REALLY are, and what you are meant to do. Not so much in terms of a career.... but in terms of your soul's desire, your destiny if you will. And when you reach this truth, you will discover that you still had that sweet naivety all along.
