Uuuuuuh...WOW! That's amazing. And I complain about doing a plank for more than 30 seconds, Watching them made me think of several plot lines for stories. :P
It is very fantasy invoking. I can just imagine such a scene in some Roman or Greek court. The whole statues coming to live thing just works so well. Their expressions help with that too...no smiling or greed for appreciation.
My best guess is that they are russian or eastern European. They look like brothers or something.
Part of what is so impressive that despite parts of this being practiced in gymnastics those couples always choose a small skinny guy (or girl) to be lifted and thrown about while this was a real example of male strength. The guy being lifted wouldn't weigh much less than the guy below, they may have even switched without me noticing.
The part I loved most was the tableau they made around 4.37 or something, that really made me think about Greek art. Which at the time must have been based on similar realities, with guys training so much.
