Hm... it's strange the way that works. Maybe I'm strange too... I'd almost rather people not comment when something bad happens to me. If it's bad enough I almost always disable comments.

It's also strange... I was this close to writing a bs philosophy entry on how bitter I am over friendships that crash and die. I suppose I understand.

Did you try being the one to talk to this person first? Not that that always works either...

you do it too. but I'm okay with you doing it because you've never pretended to be all about friendship and sparkles - I expect some level of detachment from you and that's okay because that's who you are and you're honest about it.

but it's everyone else who's always talking about friend friends friends bunnies and rainbows and constantly sucking their flist's e-dick and "i'm always here for you sweetie" and then they just ignore you as long as your arm isn't immediately falling off or whatever. so what the fuck am I doing wrong, that makes me completely unworthy of attention the rest of the time?

Mmhmm. I agree, I kinda do. I'm not the best at bein' friendly or close to people... and yeah I don't make a secret of it. It's good that you can be my friend (if we are friends?) without that overly bothering you.

Hm... I wish I could tell you. Some people honestly (I think) don't realize they're doing it. They just won't get it until it's brought up to them. But even then... that doesn't mean it'll change anything. They might feel guilty, talk to you more for awhile, and go right back to doing the same thing.

Maybe it's better to put a little distance between yourself and that person(s?) They may realize what they're missing. Or they won't and you'll be better off for it?

lawl 8P I actually used to hate them! (well not beanies but) Gasp, I thought I looked awful in hats. Until I put a beanie on and looked in the mirror.

And I was like 'oh damn, i look hot in this.' I still won't wear other kinds of hats though.
