i swear, this is the season of doom for pets. right now i am researching possible diseases that could cause my ferret Eric's behavior and fur loss. They include diabetes, hyperthyroidism, and adrenal disease. chances are if he has any of these, there's nothing we can do/afford to do about it. fudge buckets.

Why is it a season of doom?

Eric has had an awesome life, and he'll keep on rocking as long as he can. Boy just needs a sammich for his legs is all.

it's a season of doom because i know of 4 other pets who have died within the last month or so. i've been researching all morning, he probably has adrenal disease.
