LOL /signed, except I get their tirades on paper >< except when I'm lucky enough to give them a call, which I then usually ask for a nurse or 'medical assistant' b/c doc's are generally impatient and only listen to 1/2 the conversation.

-btw, best call today, called pharmacy and talked to tech:
tech: I'm sorry, but I can't do X
Me: Umm, yes you can.
tech: No, I can't.
Me: Yes, I used to do your job and you can.
tech: Fine, hold on...(pause while checking with someone else)...okay, I guess I can.
Me: ...

I think some very entitled assholes choose the medical field on purpose because they think it's carte blanche to... well, in their cases, be themselves.

I like the way you handled that. Sometimes just not giving people like that a reaction is the best way to leave them unsatisfied. :D

Good job! I used to work for doctors, and while some are fine, many do have that crappy attitude. Doctors and lawyers are the worst.
