Loki's old wig was alright, but I always wanted to give him a fur wig that I could match to his tail. I found some cheap craft fur at Michaels that looked right, so I grabbed it. I think it actually works better than buying good stuff, because it's thinner so it lays better at this scale. I'd never made a wig before, so this was fun!

Started out with mocking up the wig cap in muslin.

IT'S SO FLUFFY. Also a bit big. I took the seams in a bit before I hemmed it.

Fits better now, and smoothed down it looks pretty darn good!

Now he's back to looking wolfy with his ears on. They're cast resin and held on with magnets inside the wig.

I made the tail out of the same fabric, just a tube with a pipe cleaner inside, the wire makes it posable!

So adorable! His ears are in the middle of being painted, trying to match the wig. I'll put up pictures of that when it's done, too.
