Damnit. I think I got myself in trouble. I told my prof that these things were done, and they're not. I've been digging myself in deeper and deeper with lies to procrastinate on getting them in longer. And I'm too tired to do justice to anything right now. ::huggies:: It does sound like your voice teacher likes you. You've gotten so far with your singing that I'd hate to see you drop the class if she'll possibly give you extensions... But on the other hand, 20 credits really is insane, and unless you get major extensions, something really needs to god.

Anyway, my best advice at this point, in terms of writing, is to let your perfectionist nature go, and just do it and turn it in. It'll be worse in the long run not to have done it at all.

Yikes, Laura. Your post began well enough, where I thought that things weren’t THAT bad and that if you just dropped your voice class that you’d be all right. But then it just sorta deteriorated into ‘gonna fail my last semester of college’. Eek. I have no idea of the kind of assignments one would have in a voice class, but if you think you’re going to fail it, then definitely drop it. As soon as possible.

And 20 credits? I’m taking 18 credits (32 for the year) and you hear how I’m whinging about it. That’s quite a workload and I agree with your friends above, that something needs to go.

I hope it works out for you no matter what you decide to do. *hugs*

Oh, Kia! Thank you! YOu're such a sweetheart. Things really aren't that bad. I'm just melodramatic. :) I am in danger of failing this one class, yes, but I don't need it to graduate. And my grades may not be super in the others, but they'll be enough. I'm sorry.
