no transit strike. thank god. although part of me was hoping that there would be so i could sleep in and have an actual reason to be late to work. oh well.

i think i am going to buy a xmas tree today after work. i like the way they smell. or maybe i will just get a pine scented car air freshener. same effect right?

i would have been blase about this but, having gone home and gotten to stay with the tree that my parents got (and i helped decorate) i have to say, the veritable tree-ness of it was inescapable. i mean, just walking past it was a rush of nostalgia and freshness. neither of which i've ever gotten from a so-called freshener. now, a nostalgianator is a whole different ballgame.
