I have a friend that peels all the labels, gum and goo off ever beer she drinks. It is fascinating to observe her compulsiveness.

My kids and I call all that (especially when you pick and peel other people, like pull a feather off their hair or pluck fluff off them) Monkey Love, so I believe your theory is valid.

BTW, my greatest satifaction during the work day is peeling Post-It labs from their pad. Its so gooey and slightly sticky, like peaking from the tenacles of a sea anenome!

oh yes, i like playin with sea anenomes too. they have the perfect adhesive thing going on. i feel kinda bad teasing them though.
