I'd like to know what people do in bars. I'd really like to find out what could possibly be so special about bars. Drinking doesn't need to be confined to a small room. It doesn't seem like you can actually talk to many people there, there's no dancing room, there's barely even room to stand. Getting drunk can happen any where, in fact its alot

That's a good point, what I find really funny is that people always go in packs of friends and they don't really intermingle with others. Especially places filled with asocial awkward people, versus the boozy pubs where people make new best friends by the minute. I'd say that if there is a gimmick, like trivia, food or good music, that can be nice. People watching (judging) is kinda fun too. Obscure alcohol that you don't want to buy a bottle of?
