Notes: Written on request from a friend. The request was, "Present day Denmark and Norway talking about their union, the breakup, etc!!!"

I always love the scandinavia pairings and this is really cute ;w;

I love how you make the story flow light yet so sentimental and sweet. Then Norway being unsentimental and Denmark just being...... Denmark, they balance each other so much it's lovely ♥

It's interesting to see their relationship from Norway's point of view, especially considering how relevant the topic must be to him. All the ambiguity of the union is handled really well here, without simplifying or sugarcoating, and still it's evident why and how close those two are. <3 It was a lovely read, thank you.

Also, those snippets of Denmark and Norway's life together are just adorable, I enjoyed them almost as much as the main thing. :D

Thank you, I'm glad you think so! I think that even though it wasn't a great thing to be under a foreign power- when you look at Denmark as a sovereign, I do think he tallies up higher than some of the other nations out there (hell, even Sweden tried to erase Finnish language/culture and impose Swedification on all his territories). Not to say that Denmark is some kinda saint while others are evil, just, I doubt it was abuse and despair because of it. XD

What a lovely story! I've just begun to grow fond of DenNor as a pairing and I enjoyed this story very much. I love how Norway is "cool" towards Denmark without coming across as cold or cruel.
