i actually saw an interview where he talked about this, and he said it helps because their ears both stick out.

so maybe..that's what it was.

I know that's what it was--I read the article. It's more about what I inferred from the headline when I first read it than what it actually meant. I think it would have been better if they would have just said, "Both black with small ears."
