"Why not me, Jinki? Why...." Jonghyun fell on his knees. It wasn't the first time that he had open his heart to Jinki, and it was definitely not the first time getting rejected once again from the zombie-like Jinki.
It have been days, if not weeks since Jinki laid on the dirty sheets like a vegetable. He refuses to do anything but wallow in the lonely darkness of his own room where the scent he love was gone. Jinki's mind was stuck on a replay button.
"Kibum! " The desperation in Jinki's voice was pitiful and Kibum kicked Jinki's hand away. Kibum glare back at Jinki's tear stained face with nothing but disgust and it immediately pierced into Jinki's chest and Jinki simply wish he could turn time back. But the moment he saw Kibum's shiny red shoes stepped out of the door, he know there was no turning back...
However, Jinki didn't shed a tear. He never did. When he was four, he witnessed his parent's death, but he never once shed a tear. That was when he realized...He didn't know how to. All he felt was a dull ache on the left side of his chest, and as much as he tried to figure it out, he couldn't.
I'm tired. At the corner of his eyes, Jinki watched as Jonghyun continue to make a mess of his own face at his bedside. Jinki lifted his hand and ruffled gently on Jonghyun's head. His action led to Jonghyun shooting his head up right away. "Jinki..." Tears continue to build up at the rim of Jonghyun's eyes. The image killed him. There Jinki was, with the brightest smile staring right back at him.
Jinki finally responded to him, but the way the smile bent at the corners of his smile prove that Jinki could fool the world, but he couldn't fool Jonghyun. Jonghyun crawled towards Jinki and wrapped his arms around him, but Jinki didn't hug him back.
So Jonghyun closed his eyes and make believe that Jinki was sleeping. It wasn't another rejection.
because this is what love does to you,
it messes you up.

I have this wave of emotions and realise I miss Jinki so freaking much.
