Here is my guide to elections.

School Committee:

Luc Schuster #1
Patty Nolan #2
Joe Grassi  #3
Fred Fantini #4
Stefan Malner #5
Nancy Tauber #6  <= moved from #1 to #6, because she actually did nothing intellectual as a teacher.  "Can do the talk but cannot do the walk"  And she should stop giggling when interviewed.

Please, no Marc McGovern!

Мне нравится система с переходящими голосами.

Некоторые из кандидатов баллотировались еще тогда, когда я голосовала в Кембридже.

This system has a number of very weird artifacts (inluding the possibility to HURT a candidate by voting him higher than an oponent). But it mainly works.

Results: Happy.

Marc McGovern got elected instead of Stefan Malner from my slate. And he (McGovern) was the most popular candidate, too.

At first, I have being cynical and think that people just liked his last name for a position in a local government.

But then, I decided to look at his web page more closely (the main source of infor for my prior decision was his interview). It turns out that I ... like him! A lot! He is actually much more for "let people go to schools of their choosing" guy.
