a small update

this weekend i shot my first solo wedding with the d3. not once, NOT ONCE did i even think to put a flash on the camera. what the hell do i need flash for anymore! i'm still in post on those images, so nothing to see yet. so far, so good, though

prom themed party? Awesome!

the prom theme was "all night long," that old lionel richie song. amy made a giant mix (over 10 hours!!) and we put it on shuffle. about 2/3s of the way through the party it came on and EVERYBODY danced. and it was followed by devo's "whip it" so yeah, it was awesome!!! if we weren't separated by thousands of miles, you and yours would have been more than welcome.
