Driving in snow in the dark sucks.
Chocolate is no substitute for dinner. No matter how good the chocolate.
Dammit! I must be getting old! (But I'm also getting dinner...)

Yeah, that thing with the snow. In November. In the Midlands. Very weird.
If it's any consolation, the M1 was even worse earlier when it was raining.

Snow? Holy crap.

You're right, though. Driving in snow in the dark is definately my least favourite condition. Ever. I guess there are a few consolations to trying to use the trains to get to work.
Still, at least you're home now, and hopefully they might get the old gritting trucks out overnight.

It's been snowing pretty consistantly since I got home (after twice the driving time and watching the temp drop from 3.5 to 0 in half an hour). Unless there's a serious thaw tonight (unlikely) then I'm going to be in the very awkward position of not knowing whether or not to risk driving 35 miles into work tomorrow. I'm mostly on main (but busy) roads but getting stuck somewhere would be bad. Ah well, guess I can only wait see how it looks in the morning.

I am *so* jealous :)

(Ok, not so much of the driving bit, but then I've never driven in snow, so I woulsn't know)
