I turned up for work at 11am today to hear the question 'what are you doing here?' which I stupidly reply 'it's Friday'. Turns out I didn't have work because of it being show day. thats exactly what WW said and i said last year on ANZAC day! but they shouldve told u being a cafe, and since we had to work easter last yr with no mention of it even being easter or extra pay..i wouldve assumed too. (im still annoyed about that!)

hey yeah, that is true!! they usually work labour day, but not this year but they did tell me I had that day off. It was just embarassing today turning up for work unwanted!!
