Nessa, Mike and Denise got here at around 10 dropped all their shit off, met my parents, went on the computer and all that good shiz then we left at like 10:45 or so. It was fucking easy to get to Merriweather. We ended up getting there at 11:30 when I told them they coulda slept in but noo they didn't listen. Heh, I love those kids. We were sitting in the middle of no where in shithole maryland for 4 hours all by ourselves then people started showing up. Me and Mike went exploring for a while, found a mall right across the street and thats where we found civilization and most importantly.. food.
We first found the buses then we went and got food, we walked around the mall alot haha only cause we knew Denise and Nessa would do the same. Mike was awesome, fuck they all were awesome. It realyl didn't feel like the first time meeting Nessa cause well we talk everyday on the phone soo it was like she was here and shit and I'm making a fool otu of myself I'll continue with the concert.
So Mike and I saw the buses and we walked over and the bitch made us step back. Soo then we went back to Nessa and Denise after we got some Subway and Popeyes then those 2 went to the mall and left us in line.. when no one even there to cut infront of us. Then this weird 'under cover cop' came up to us and started talking to us. He was on a bike with a little light thingy and a siren.. he claimed he was 21(no way), an undercover cop (which normally cops don't admit to kids that they ARE under cover), getting married and running away together (with a person his parents still think he's just friends with) and he didn't have a badge.. just a cell phone. Hm. Makes ya think. We chilled at the 'People Watching Station' for a hell of a long time then Nessa and Denise came back and we were all together again.
We stayed there for a long while.. then some people started showing up and me and Mike took another walk in the opposite direction. We ended up finding a side gate to the buses but the peope wouldn't let us stand there.. FUCKERS.
I'm gonna skip that shit and fastforward to the concrt.. deal? Deal.
So OF COURSE we were FRONT ROW CENTER. Fucking, right infront of Amy Lee. The first band that came out was Breaking Benjamin at 6:10.. they were actually better then I thought they would be. Ben- the lead singer- would make these fucking funny faces when he sang.. it was like he was turning evil right infront of us and changing into a different person haha I was amused. I ended up getting their set list while Nessa got hit by a drumstick.
So after a 30 minute set, Three Days Grace came on stage. My god I was psyched for that mainly cause I promised Emily that I'd take pictures. I took maybe 2 of them and 1 of breaking Benjamin, the rest where Amy and Shaun and Joe and Terry. But Three Days Grace fuckign rocked, they went crazy but Barry, mohawk guy, broke so many strings and was kinda annoying doing the same moves over and over again. Oh well. I ended up getting their set list too! Whooooot!
Then Seether. Fuck. Yes. Shaun was amazing but he didn't seem too into it.. tired or something. They played all of the amazing songs that i absolutly love then THEN THE LAST SONG was a 'Rape Me' by Nirvana cover. I was like YESS!! Umm then when they played Broken, of course Amy came out and the whole crowd went wild. Seriously though, no one knew any of teh words to really any song.. it was only us 4 who were singing along and going crazy. I wanted to show Shaun love. Ah, he was awesome. And durign the set Amy was on the side stage bouncing around and singing to the music, so cute.
Then EVANESCENCE. FUCKING AWESOME they started out playing Haunted and omg I think I almost died. That was.. I think.. the best show I have ever been to. Just the stage presence was amazing. She looked right at Nessa and Miek when she was playing "Thoughtless' the Korn cover on the pianos cause Nessa screamed 'Fuck Yea' at the top of her lungs and when she looked at Nessa I thought Amy thought that Nessa said 'Fuck You' haha i was like ooooh.. then apparently Amy said thank you to Nessa so thats good. Then later on when she was playing My Immortal she threw Mike and Nessa her waterbottle cap haha I was like awww! She was so adorable last night. Then they played 'Zero' by Smashing Pumpkins and every song ont eh cd including songs from the earliest cds. Seriously though we were the only people who knew the words to every song.. everyoen else only sang during My Immortal or Bring Me To Life. Me and Mike were rapping to eachother during Bring Me To Life haha. Wow. Thats really all I can say. Wow. Will kept lookign at us.. I was getting a little creaped out by that. Nessa got seether and Evanescence set list so with both of us together we got all 4 bands set lists. We rock.
Then we went out back to the buses and we waited for a while then a bus pulled out and I swore I saw Amy in the window, looking right at me as the bus went by but then everyone kept saying yea it must have been a joke and she wuoldn't leave that early! So I wasl ike 'Oh.. well.. ok then I guess it was that other chick..' Then we waited around till 1:30AM when teh show finished at 10 only to find that she was in teh first bus that left. I did get Ben from Breaking Benjamin and Jeremy from Breaking Benjamin's autographs. So it wasn't COMPLETELY a waste. I just hoped to finish off a perfect night i would get a picture with Amy. heh oh well. It was SO worth getting there at 11:30.
Then we went back to my place, Denise crashed, Mike looked up directions then crashed and me and Nessa looekd up some journal online then we crashed and woke up at 9:30.. well me and Denise atleast. Then they left at 11:10 or so.
It was a fucking great weekend. <33
