Still writing, working on something saleable alongside the fanfic.
Watched to the end of the MCU; felt pretty cheated by the ending. Haven't been in fandom very much lately - apart from the writing, my life has moved into gardening and other RL pursuits.
I have Netflix, but I have such a difficult time watching it; I think my ability to enjoy formally produced stuff decreased as I grew in understanding of my own psyche and how much it differed from both fandom's psyche and the psyche of the audience that media is aimed at. And I have a lot more things happening in RL these days, so I don't have time or patience to watch even things that I would rather like to.
To make a cut: [lj-cut text="your spoilers here"], replacing the square brackets with angle brackets.
I don't have any streaming services. We use the library's DVD collection for TV and movies. But I'm not sorry about missing out on the new season, given the ending. I don't bother trying to avoid spoilers anymore since I'm always a year or more behind. Once a series is released on DVD, I have to wait for the library to buy it, and then get in the holds queue. By the time I can check the new season out, I'll have forgotten everything I read.
What have I been doing? My absence from fandom is due to getting old and tired. I even skipped Yuletide last year.
I've been mostly away from fandom since 2013 (due to writing burnout after my longest series), so being away only 1 year sounds short :) But it's pretty hard to get back once you're drifting away.
RL business, little time.. I'm all with you. Not watching a lot of Netflix here (maybe 1 hour every month), not feeling inclined to spend my life on binge-watching series anymore.

Though maybe the new Picard series will be fun!
Hugs :).
