Just read through a bunch of old entries. A lot of memories, good and bad. ...but man I was stupid back then. Blinded by so many things

Actually... I think Livejournal has a feature now that you can delete them all at once. Though, I don't know if you can save individual entries. Though, I have to ask... if you are planning to delete this journal anyway... why do you care if those entries?
Actually, while looking through Livejournal's FAQ... apparently you can export your own journal so that you can download it and keep every entry you ever wrote. So if there are entries that you want to save, you can just save them to your computer.
Another thing you could do if you just don't want people to read your old entries, is you could set the ones you don't want others to read as private. Or, make those entries friends only if you want only your friends to read them.
Just some suggestions from someone who may have not been reading long, but I do read everytime you post. It just don't have anything to comment usually. That, and you really don't know me at all so I figured you wouldn't care what I had to say. To be complete honest here.
I want to delete everything except this entry, purely so people who come here later know what happened to everything and where to find me. If I can delete every entry and NOT the journal itself, I'll just repost this. I just don't want to leave a void behind.
Well, I just went looking through the FAQ. Apparently I was wrong, I thought they made an announcement that you could do that. Apparently I was wrong.
You are going to have to delete every entry by hand.
To quote the LJ FAQ:
How do I delete all my journal entries without deleting my account? While all of your journal entries can be deleted without deleting your account, you must still delete each entry individually.
Neither LiveJournal nor downloadable clients allow deleting all your journal entries with one command. However, a downloadable client deletes entries faster since it doesn't have the delay for pages to load in LiveJournal's web interface. For more information on your preferred client, consult its documentation or menu options.
As an alternative to deleting all entries, Paid and Permanent members can turn all entries Private with a single command.
Aww. I like reading your LJ :( It's a shame to see you abandon it, but then again, a lot of my friends have sadly decided to go the Twitter route instead. Ah well, to each their own. I personally MUCH prefer reading real blog entries instead of one-sentence twits... er tweets... whatever those are called, but hey... I'm a dinosaur in those respects ;)
Do whatever you gotta do. I've been following you here for years, and if you decide to open another LJ elsewhere, I will be following that as well :)
I might just make a new one. There's just a lot of old baggage on this one that I want to get rid of. And if I DID, I'd want one entry on this journal to point to the new one, so I can't just outright delete it.
