I woke up at six thirty in the fucking morning because I'm starting that three-week at St. Mary's today. I kind of want to die.
Maybe. Just a little bit.
On the bright side of all of this, I had a lovely weekend in Chicago. Health care reform passed through the house. And I'll finally have a little money. -
List of things that make me anxious 3/18

1) (Cultural?) Catholic guilt. I could extrapolate on this subject for hours but I think just saying that I suffer from this should be enough to shame me into not feeling guilty about not feeling guilty, that formidable opponent I'm always coming up against ( Read more... ) -

So many things to think about, so little time with which to think. Also I'm hungover. Bacchanalia was quite successful, or whatever.
If things could start making more sense to me than they do currently, I would greatly appreciate it. -

I know that I feel strong cultural ties to Catholicism; I understand the longstanding effects of being raised in an Italian-American family. But couldn't I just move into the 21st century and at least stop feeling guilty about things that haven't even come to pass? All of this guilt is making me ill ( Read more... ) -
