Doctor Who isn't my sole great sci fi fandom. I'm also quite enthusiastic about another certain long-historied program that last week got its latest movie.
While some people thought it was the most awesome thing ever, some people quibbled over the new variations despite the explanations given. The biggest question hotly debated over was "Does this mean TOS/TNG/DS9/VGR never happened if this is now "the new canon?"
In one of the forums, I enlisted the help of a certain Time Lord to make my case and I thought I'd just share it with you all.
