[yay second level and not realizing it because oooohhh machine is in front of him~] The button broke and the door fell off. This whole thing is rusting. It might just be easier to take it apart and use the parts for something else.

I was mad at myself and fixing things didn't help me forget. I had failed twice. It was like going through deja vu. ( Read more... )

Well. That wasn't familiar at all, nope. No way.

Only not. Failure is something I'm very, very familiar with. And this monologue-event-thingy is really starting to get on my nerves.

... Hey. Um... Would you like some help?

Failure. A word I couldn't stand. After a moment of thinking, I decided that it'd be all right if this strange girl helped. She might help distract my mind, distract the dragon.

...[points to a screwdriver] Can you hand me that?

Eh? He doesn't seem to realize the situation. Well, okay. I can work with that; it'll be pretty fun. If he wants distraction, well. I'm pretty good at those.

[hands it to him with a smile] Hey, can I try using a trick of mine on that thing you're working on?

What situation? I was curious to know what she meant but it was better to not ask.

[takes the screwdriver, looks at it then begins to take off the back of the stove] Sure, go for it. As long as it doesn't mess up any of the parts.

[D: omg, have a super tight hug from Padme. And a kiss, too.]

I hated seeing him like this. He always did have a habit of blaming everything on himself, even when the person who he'd "failed" held no ill will towards him.

Anakin, please don't blame yourself. There's nothing you could have done.

((ooc: fdsfas THIS IS SO WEIRD))

[Surprise wife!]

I'm sure there could have been something.

One day, I'll be the first to find out how to make a star not die. When that happens, I'll be able to save a person from dying.

Like what?

But there really was nothing he could have done. Maybe if I had listened more, or taken his fears more seriously...

I don't know. Something though.

What kind of answer was that? 'Something'. I had to think of something better to come up with.

I wondered what promise he meant, and couldn't help but to emphasize a little. It was against my better judgement, but I'd hate it if I failed. Maybe I already had. Still, I guess it was his issue to solve...and is there any way to edit my thoughts, please?

Whatever, I want to kick the stove now.

This is annoying.

It was a promise I failed to keep. What was the point of promises if you couldn't even keep them? And if this kid touched my stove and caused any damage to it, he'd find himself in a pile of junk quicker than he could say Tatooine.

I have to agree.

Tatooine sounded funny, like a monster I could slaughter in one swipe with Souba. I felt some reassurance that at least I hadn't broken any promises unlike him, who kept insulting me the other day. At least, that was what I kept telling myself. I decided I'd damage his stove when he wasn't looking and then run off.

Told you weird stuff happens.

If Tatooine had been a monster, I'd have destroyed it already. That place caused too much pain and it was filled with sand. Hm. Better keep a close eye on the youngling.

This isn't weird, it's as you said, annoying.

What Anakin... doing?

With this? [looks at the stove] Trying to get the things inside of it. Why throw away this whole machine when some of it may still be useful?

findherway April 23 2008, 00:22:15 UTC
Useful for... what?

Who knows? I'll be able to figure that out as soon as I can get my hands on the them.
